The dissolved air floaters produced by Fast feature the most exclusive and modern microbubble system on the market, in addition to being manufactured with high-quality and durable materials. This guarantees low operating costs and an excellent return on your investment.<\/div>\n
Used mainly in water and effluent treatment plants, Fast floaters are highly efficient in separating oils and solid particles from water, eliminating a high percentage of contaminants with low consumption of chemical products.<\/div>\n
This system is the most practical, compact and reliable method for treating most municipal or industrial effluents. It consists of a dissolved air flotation process \u2013 DAF, which allows for the continuous removal of suspended solids or particles with floated sludge scrapers. The result is a significant reduction in BOD (biological oxygen demand), COD (chemical oxygen demand), O&G (oils and greases), phosphorus and other parameters.<\/div>\n
To improve the efficiency of the flotation process, coagulation and flocculation steps can also be applied, which occur through the addition of chemicals (coagulants and polymers, for example) dosed according to the characteristics of the liquid to be treated in hydraulic or mechanical devices located at the inlet of the dissolved air flotation unit.<\/div>\n
ADVANTAGES<\/strong><\/div>\n
With flotation, it is possible to reduce the consumption of chemical products, such as coagulants and flocculants (typical of conventional decantation processes) by between 20% and 40%;<\/div>\n
Flocculation requirements are lower for the flotation process, being effective even with small flakes, facilitating operation and requiring less attention from the operator;<\/div>\n
Each module starts and stops extremely quickly due to the reduced volume of the flotation module and flocculation times. There is no maturation period, typical of conventional sedimentation;<\/div>\n
Smaller footprint with compact structure that reduces construction times and costs;<\/div>\n
For sludge discharge, as it is extracted from the surface with automatic removal, there is no clogging and no need for cleaning. The sludge layer is visible and stable;<\/div>\n
The retention time of the materials is much shorter than the decantation process, and the separation speed is around 10 times greater, being immune to temperature variations;<\/div>\n
Greater concentration of solids in the sludge when compared to decantation systems, eliminating the need for thickeners and reducing the volume of sludge to be dewatered.<\/div>\n
